Inbound shipments from your suppliers are arranged to arrive in sync with production needs – often delivering parts daily or multiple times per day in the exact sequence required for assembly. This minimizes on-site inventory and frees up space on your factory floor.
At our warehouses (or even on-site at your plant), we can perform kitting and sub-assembly. We group individual parts into ready-to-install kits or partially assemble components so that your production line can quickly take a kit and install it without sorting through many separate pieces. For example, assembling a set of fasteners, gaskets, and fittings into one kit for each unit you produce.
We also manage milk-run pickups from multiple suppliers if needed, consolidating materials into one efficient delivery run to your plant. This reduces transportation trips and ensures all required parts arrive together. Our transportation is scheduled to meet strict delivery windows aligned with your shifts and takt time, ensuring material is delivered line-side exactly when needed.
Additionally, we handle the outbound side for manufacturing support, such as moving finished goods from the end of the production line to distribution centers, or managing removal of production scrap and recyclables. We can also manage spare parts logistics for your maintenance, making sure replacement parts for your machinery or tooling are in stock and delivered quickly to avoid any maintenance downtime.
